This site sets no cookies, loads nothing from third parties, and uses no analytics or tracking.

Server logs. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). GitHub logs each request with your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser type. This is necessary to deliver the site securely, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have no access to these logs, and they are retained by GitHub only for as long as that purpose requires. Data may be transferred to the USA; GitHub is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Email. If you write to us, we use your message only to answer it, Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR, and delete it once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies. Our mailboxes are hosted by IONOS SE, Germany. Please note that email is not a secure channel and can be read in transit; use it accordingly.

Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests, write to info@purpur.berlin. You may also complain to a supervisory authority; ours is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
